pronounced whistling noise 2017 Tdi Ultra
I own a 2017 Audi A6 Avant Tdi Ultra. I have started to notice a whistling sound that becomes more pronounced between 55-62mpg. When the sound system is off, you can hear it at any speed, but it is faint and only occurs when accelerating (if I am coasting it is gone). It is loudest around 58mpg in top gear (D7), can hear it against background (stereo) noise.
again it only happens when using the accelerator, so it is definitely related to something in the engine bay, but I have no idea what.
Any ideas?
