[Verified] Fix for full telephone integration on RNS-E ("Please use your phone" message)
Turns out, NAVTEQ.com knowledge was correct. I have an '06 S4 built in summer '05 with the version 1A DVD. When you press the Tel button, you only get "Please use your phone" on the screen.
So, I discussed with dealer, gave them what I had learned, double checked the settings with the VAG-COM and let them do their own research.
Got a call the other day and they had an answer. Stopped by today and we inserted a version 2A DVD and let the software update. Starts automatically once you close the screen. Reboots a couple times and is done in about 5 minutes.
Now when I push the Tel button, I have full integration with my Motorola V557 phone including Recent Calls List, Missed Calls List, Number Search, Phone Book List, and can make calls from the Nav too.
Also now displays the Time, Signal Strength, and Bluetooth icons on the bottom center of all screens.
Finally!!!

Just put my old DVD back in and I was off. Might pick up the 3A disk when it comes out and maintain an every other year update for the maps.
