Default Adding Nav to an 06 A6 (MMI) - Can I use the Sat Radio MOST?

After doing some research and talking to AudiUSA, the CSR gave me 2 part numbers. One is for the DVD player, and one is a 'retrofit kit', essentially a wiring harness from what I can tell.

A quick glance in the trunk revealed a pair of fiber optic cables, what I believe is the MOST connection for the satellite radio.

If I don't intend on adding sat radio, can I use this hookup? Or will I need additional plugs that only the retrofit harness provides?

I ask because I just read a post where someone added a TV tuner and used the MOST cables usually reserved for the satellite module.

Thanks!

Fiber optic cable is used in MMI systems for TEL as well, but I'm not sure if it will be compatible

yes, no problem. I just did it and it works fine. The fiber optics line is a loop, and as long are you are in the loop, it should work.
