Since the last Friday of November is the day after Thanksgiving, the Lone Star Chapter's lunch is being moved up to this coming Friday, November 22nd. It will be at 11:45 a.m. at the Fox & Hound English Pub at 11470 Westheimer, approximately 1 mile west of Beltway 8, just west of Hays Road. If you think you will attend, please let me know so I can arrange for us to have a large enough table.

In other news, I have decided to resign my office as President of the Lone Star Chapter. When I first took over this position from Nick Snyder over a year ago, I came in full of enthusiasm. Unfortunately, several events with small turnouts have dampened my enthusiasm. Combined with my new daughter to occupy my time, I feel I am unable to give the attention to the club that is necessary for it to be what it should.

Derek Anthony, our chapter Vice President, is taking over my position, effective this Friday. His email is danthony at plusklasse dot com. I will continue to be involved and present at several of the events though. If you would like to see this club become better, please volunteer to plan and organize an event. If a half dozen people would do this for one event each year, then we would have six great events for the club each year. We even have some ideas that just need someone to take charge on and plan them out. For those of you in D/FW or Austin/San Antonio, a coordinated effort to hold statewide events and gatherings would be a great opportunity for enthusiasts across the state to meet outside of your local clubs (NTAG, AAC, STAG). Please feel free to step forward and be the one to make things happen. Thank you. I hope to see a lot of you Friday.

...that should last us well into next year. Why the bulk purchase? Spend $100 or more and get a free 24" Tigger (or Pooh) stuffed animal. Two separate purchases = 2 Tiggers (the Pooh was kind of goofy lookin).

Just wait till she starts teething. She's gonna go through diapers at an alarming rate. Tugging of the ears and the low grade fever and the diarhea. Keep those latex gloves close!

thanks for leading it up for a while there. Derek - good luck with the new role. I'll try to make more events (besides lunch)as I'm still getting used to my 6 month baby.... my car that is. The kids are 4 yr old and 1 yr old.

Lance - you think the poo smells now - wait till you get the youngin' on baby food. WOW!!!!
