Remove engine and transmission as an assembly-Use service manual for proper procedure. Remove air intake system, cooling system, engine wiring harness, Engine Controller and engine mounts. Separate transmission

Install/fabricate engine mounts. Attach transmission to replacement engine. Install the replacement engine and transmission and all related subsystems. This also means New, proper Engine controller/ECU along with wiring harness. Modify car wiring harness as appropriate to interface with older ECU-Good luck. Fabricate new air intake system as required. Install cooling system and modify as required. Modify power steering system as required. Connect and properly charge air conditioning system. Reattach everything else you removed.

Install new fluids.

Start engine.

Troubleshoot engine that won't start.

Check for leaks.

Repair leaks.

Put car in drive/1st gear. Attempt to drive car.

If there are problems, resolve them.
