I looked up on ECS website the Redline MT90 is not good for the 5speed manual transmission.
But here, in this blog you guys recommending using MT90 fluid.
So I'm a little confused.
Can somebody help me out with this?

Are you just trying to do a service interval on the manual transmission? ECS gives you two options for the 02 180 TT. Both will include their magnetic drain plug which I have had fitment issues with in the past and you can choose between MTL or MT-90 fluid. Don't see where ECS recommends not to use it as they actually list it as the kit to use.

I just put Redline MT90 in my 6 speed this weekend. It goes into gear with less effort, but there is not a huge difference in feel. The old oil at 105k miles didn't look too bad.
