Default Advice request>>>

So I'm going in later this month for the 40K service and to have my wheels refinished. However, it's almost time for snows to go so I'm thinking that since they have to take the tires off the wheels anyway, they can just put the snows on instead...right? Ya think the dealership will charge me for something they were going to do anyway???
Thanks!

Default Bryan>>>>

my suggestion is go with a seperate set of wheels and tires for the winter. Constant remounting of tires on rims is bad for the beads and sidewalls.

I use to run black steel wheels on my car all winter and it was much easier. Tirerack sells nicely bundled deals on these...i may even have a set of steelies that you could have...no tires...just the rims.

...on getting 18s over the winter anyway and using the stock 17s as a winter wheel. I really appreciate the offer though! Thanks Hans!
