Anwone place subs in the rear speaker position (coupe)?
Beginning to do some research on switching out my existing Bose system... Sub box is an option, but I keep thinking of the rear (mostly 'fill' speaker postion. Upgrading the fronts considerably and added two 6 or 8 in subs in the rear position is really attractive.
Any thoughts?

Not impossible to do....but difficult and you'll need to get creative
with spray on sound killer, and fiberfill.
Possibly a 8" sub, but wouldnt be very efficient due to small enclosure size.
e.g my 2 12" solobarics only needed 1.66cuft, but in order to operate correctly needed tons of amp power, no such thing as a free lunch, what you gain in one place you lose in another.
As I recall Boston's demo car had 10" subwoofers in the rear panels, but they fiberglassed the panel to accomodate em but lost the first aid kit and cd changer location....Trade off again..
