Default Any thoughts/experiance w/ this intake

From PES, apparantely has piping that can lead directly from the fender to the filter, thus a source of cool fresh air rather than from the engine dept directly.

My thoughts, cool sound, few extra horses. Any other benefits?

I got so busy with work, I haven't yet completed my work. At this point, all I need is to paint the pipe in the bumper black and to add a pipe from the intake to the fender. Then I'm complete. HP is improved, but I feel the low end torque has been robbed a bit.

Default What does this have to do with Fallingwater? Please preface your posts with "OT".

Or maybe "OT for this week". :P

Default What you need is an air duct available from many racing suppliers

Check out Racer Wholesale
They have a 8.5 x 4.0" spoiler duct with a 1" flange that should fit 180's and hide that ugly hose. Many other sizes available. They also carry silicone & neoprene ducting hose.

= My plans to route cool air to the stock air intake and my Jamex hi-perf filter element.
