Anyone here ever change the little red alarm lights on the doors, to any other type of a led bulb?

I actually replaced the driver's side LED with a Ultra-Bright 5mm Red LED to go with my after-market alarm.
I took apart the whole assembly, and re-built it with the larger LED.
Not real easy to do, as it means drilling out the hole in the OEM LED gasket.
