Anyone know how much a replacement plastic emergency key costs?

With immobilizer. I lost mine several years ago and thinking of replacing it. Also lost a regular key, so if I'm going to pay for an immobilizer reprogram, I might as well replace all my lost keys at one time.

Was quoted $85.00 a couple years ago for an A4. The immobilizer chip must be made of unobtainium.

Ouch. Forget it. Including a regular key fob plus a charged hour of labor to recode the keys

and I'm probably looking at 400 bucks.
