similar to a chip As far as performance any one know what it actually controls? does it clamp the voltage like a diode? does it control the n75 valve? i just dont seem to be able to justify the revo flash programing right now, then keep changing things then have to drive 2 hours one way and pay more $ to get a update flash when i change things, to get the most out of it. i know this is aginst the norm. but i like to tinker like many of you i'm sure.

No substitute for chipping...>>
Trust us here, a chip program is the biggest bang for the buck out there. Just increasing the boost with a controller (or my boost machine) is limited based on the stock ECU programming parameters. Chip programs tailor Boost, Fuel, Timing, RPM, Limp mode sensitivity ect. to maximize the efficiencies and safety of a modded motor. YOu can get good, reliable power increases out of your motor with a chip....The other tack ons are a risk and won't be nearly as satisfying without the underlying parameters necessary to keep your motor happy.....
Spend the money on Revo and an SPS3 controller and you'll be alble to tinker and modify as your mod level increases. I doubt Revo is updating programming on a 2000 180. No worries about that. I'm running the same APR program I started with 5 years ago...It was good then, it's good now.
