APR Chip - Initial Impressions
I just chipped my 180QC this past Thursday. Everything I expected after reading these posts for about 2 months....great 2nd and 3rd gear torque...very smooth. Well worth the $$.
The only think that's still there is that "surging" feeling in 1st gear. I thought this was due to a faulty DV, but I popped a Bailey in the car 2 weeks ago. I still have a surging feeling, and now that the car's chipped, it's even more noticeable.
Is it my driving? Do I need to spool up the turbo before take-off??
Opinions?

My uneducated experience
I haven't chipped my 180 Coupe yet ... but that first gear surging when away for me when I got the K&N Air filter. It was a surprise ... I wasn't expecting to notice anything really ... so I'm sure the result was real.
I saw more improvement from the darn air filter then I did the Forge DV (but my original DV was still fine).

I'm getting chipped (APR) next week. What else should be done to the car (air filter, bypass valve)?
