In North Carolina, all you have to do is get information from the truck about the company and follow up by contacting the front office to tell them that they did the damage. Even though the trucks say on them that they aren't liable for damage they really are. Their insurance company should be able to pay for repairs.

The annoying part is having to follow the truck to wherever it is going in order to get the necessary information.

I do not know if this law is effect in all states...

I only got a cracked windshield from the rock that flew up from the truck I was about to pass. Unfortunately the dealer I use didn't have a window gasket and if they broke it I would be two weeks without a window. Needless to say I decided to wait until they had the gasket on hand :-)

protected you, or is the chip to far up the hood? I ask, because I am almost certainly going to get an invisable bra when my TT shows up, and for more money, rather than stop at 12 inches, they will go up 24 inches.<p>rabjunk
