Bailey Out! Forge Stealth In!!! Thanks Pate at Strat. Forge seems to work much better

Don't get me wrong, I am a supporter of Pate', Pete, Stratmosphere, Forge, etc...
But I question whether the Bailey (or Forge for that matter) is so inferior that it is necessary to replace one for another. I can certainly understand one's joy at being rid of the crappy OEM DV, but I have a Bailey, and it seems to work perfectly. I can't understand your glee, as if you'd just rid yourself of a malignant tumor.
I want to make sure that we're not casting a shadow where it doesn't deserve to be cast.

I think you're all nuts!!!
The stock valve works just fine. I'll admit it's not the most reliable part made, but when it works, it works. I ran a bailey valve for a while when my stock valve failed. The plastic elbow joint that the vacuum hose connects to pulled out after a while. As far as reliability goes, that isn't much better than a stock valve if you ask me. Right now, I'm running another stock valve, and there is no difference between it and the bailey when it comes to between shift spool-up and overall performance.
Personally, I think the people hyping the forge and bailey valves are getting kickbacks from suppliers. :-p

The revisions are all due to reliability problems...
Performance is only adversly affected when the valve fails. Like I said, I installed a bailey valve, and ran back to back with no noticable difference (as measured by my gtech).
