Battery Cable Replacement
The positive terminal on my 2000 TT 1.8L has corroded too many times and its time to replace the battery and the battery cable.
Can anyone give me a part number for the cable? It looks like I need a special one because of the bend and the fact I need to bolt on a second wire that leads to fuses. Is there somewhere online I can get one cheap or am I stuck with going to the stealership?

2000 is an AMU engine code, right? If so, the cable is part number...
8N0971228C (228B for AWP and ATC engine codes). WorldImpex has it for $65: http://www.worldimpex.com/parts/genuine-part-harness_200676.html
Riverside Audi has it for $58 and change (see link).<ul><li><a href="http://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/index.cfm?siteid=215021">http://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/index.cfm?siteid=215021</a</li></ul>
