Default Boost machine questions....

So...I just installed my B-machine. Im running right now at about 4&3/4 turns. I currently have my race N75 still installed...is this bad? The car really doesnt feel too much different. I am still spiking a little...boost shoots up to 1.6/1.7 bar...they chills around 1.5 bar. Think I should go back to a stock N75? For those in the know: how many about how many turns does it take to hit limp mode? I have hit 1.8 bar before and did not get put into limp. When using the b-machine is boost supposed to go to a point and stay there through the rev range...or still fall off toward redline? Thanks fellas!

Default Based on reading Steve' site>>>>

links and all...he recommends the stock N75 to avoid the spiking...and its suppose to hold the boost in the "overboost" area, not decrease. Other than that i am "book aware" only on this mod...:P

Default Put the stock N75 back in...>>

The BM essentially takes the place of it (the race) with better control. As long as you have an N75 in the system, boost will taper some. Much safer that way, less heat generated, and besides out K04's only have so much umph. They really can't sustain high boost levels at high RPM's. On hitting limp, really depends on the other mods, temps and other signals going into the ECU. Plan on it happening between 1.8-2 bar though!

Default i put my stock OEM N75 back in, like Steve suggests...and sold it on eBay >>

This way, I can recoup some of my costs. I'm hoping to sell my front calipers as well like Steve is doing to get some dollars back for the upgrades.

Besides, I'm not even sure you will feel much difference with the N75 race in, since the regulator is, well, regulating the pressure.
I have it turned the same amount...but if you're spiking, you should give it a 1/4 turn back so you will limit the pressure to your max and not spike zone.

Default Forget the H valve, and the boost machine... try out the N75K

or if we ever get to meet up you can try mine out. BIG improvement... obviously from Danny.
