Borla exhaust question
Does anyone have experience driving the TT w/ a Borla - after living with the stock exhaust for a while? I put one on my Defender 90 and it is VERY loud at 50-60 - especially if you rev third and fourth at high rpms. I would not put one on the TT if it produced similar results... not that I mind a "throaty" exhaust, but the Land Rover gets tedious after an hour or two on the interstate. Also, considering the expense, is there a noticable improvement in power? (there certainly was w/ the Defender - perhaps the only reason why I've kept the exhaust) - I'm curious since the noise isn't nearly as loud on Range Rovers or BMWs w/ Borlas that I've driven... Thanks

Yup..... had my Borla installed about a month ago
Wish I had done it sooner... a very pleasant lower growl, yes, a tad more noticeable, but, of course that is one of the reasons I installed it. In fact I had to roll the windows down to appreciate the new sound. I get a slight, but not obnoxious resonance around 3500 rpm, others have not mentioned that, so maybe I need to check on the installation. The change in driving is immediate, I didn't so much sense a power increase as a smoothness increase...altho the power is there. Do it.
