Default Brake Pad Warning showed up today.....

Who's got the best pad/rotor deal out there?
I'm assuming its the fronts, they are usually the first to go.

Default If car is still on free scheduled maint., ...

wouldn't you want to have Audi fix free of charge and then pull the almost new components off when you upgrade? You could sell the new components or keep as spares??? Just a thought.

Default I've got this setup and don't know how I lived with the stock pads for so long. I went with Mintex

because I wanted to be able to use the low pad indicators...not an option yet on the Porterfields. I also enjoy the sounds the x-drilled make -- I just hope they don't crack too soon!!

Default You might have the oldest surviving TT still belonging to it's original owner. You and JimTT are

the only ones with 5/99 deliveries that still own their car.

Quite an accomplishment, avoiding the Lemon curse like that.

I recommend the Mintex.

No worries about cracking...they survived 2 days at the track in 90+ weather :-)
