Default Brake problem ?

Hello,

From yesterday I have problem with my brakes. When I turn steering wheel to the end (left or right) and than first time when I press brake pedal, pedal is soft and deep; and car dont brake - then when I press brake pedal again it works normal.

Then next time when I will turn steering wheel to the end, first time after that brakes will not work (brake pedal is soft and deep again), when I press brake pedal second after that and than until I turn steering wheel to the end, brakes works normal.

Anyone know what that could be wrong? I have service next week, but Im scared I will lost brakes and crash into car at front of me.

Thanks for help

Default Sounds like the brakes need to be bled or could be a brake booster problem...>>

too. If you pump the brakes and they hold, you could have a air bubble(s) in the line.

How many miles on the car?
Have you had the pads replaced?

Since you have 2 cars, park the one with the problem until you get it to the dealer.

Hope this helps.

Default Thanks

Car has 60.000 km (convert: 37284 miles), brake pads were replaced 20.000 km (12427 miles) ago.

Yesterday after I drive out of garage (I turned steering wheel to the end) Ive seen that brake pedal is soft and deep, then I press it again and was OK. Then brakes worked normal (I didnt need to put steering wheel to the end) and today after I drive out of garage I had same problem again. Then I have tested brakes and every time after I put steering wheel to the end, first time pedal was soft and deep.

I will not drive TT until Ive got service. I thought that mybie brake`s oil lacks, but I dont see any connection between steering wheel and brakes. Strange is that if I dont turn steering wheel to the end (just normal moving in corners) it doesnt have any efects on brakes, only when I turn it to the end. On Board computer it doesnt show anything wrong.

Thanks for help!

Default Yep, I dont want to crash TT, because it is to good ;) I just want to know what is connection

between steering wheel and brakes - this could gave me information what could be wrong, before I go on service.

BTW: I know it is not for me, but what do you mean with "UT fan?"

Default wheel bearings.

Play in bearings (runout) pushes pads away from discs when lateral loads applied. See a mechanic.

Default Interesting...

Ive got wheelspacers and when Ive bought them, they told me that wear out of wheel bearings will be much higher than without spacers.

Thanks
