Default buying a car

hi, I'm new to this forum and was woundering if anyone could help me with a car choice. I am between a Subaru wrx and a Audi tt. I know this is an Audi site and I am leaning toward to tt, but most of the people I talk to say the wrx is faster. So I want to know if it will be hard to modify a tt or costly. Any info will be useful.

thak you,
Gary

The subie will be faster. The subie will be cheaper. The TT will ALWAYS look better.

if you can't afford it, don't bother with the TT. cheaper to mod a WRX.

Default a little story for you ...

A co-worker recently traded a Mk IV GTI for a Subie. He was hoping for an R32, cause he wanted the AWD, but it was too much $$$. He loves the way the Subie drives, in general, tho he says the turbo lags is somewhat more pronounced than the GTI. But he always looks longingly at the TT; he ways asked me about the TT; he always makes a comment about the TT.

I have never really felt compelled to ask about his Subie.

And, BTW, I have the V6, so it's right there with the WRX (unless you're talking STI).

Default If it's speed you are looking for Subaru, if you are shooting for looks TT. IMO get the TT..Trust

Trust me when I say people (not that it matters) will look more at a TT than a WRX. The TT is an awesome car all around, the fastest but quick..

Default I was surprised by the lag....>>

Drove Axeyrcats Saab 9-2 (WRX in disguise) and yeah, it does not feel like the HP advertised. Takes awhile to spool those babys up! TT's can be set-up for NO lag and , honestly, mine felt a bunch faster..(with bolt on tuning)

Default All my stuff....>

I have Zippo lag. Anything over 25-2700 or so, turbo response is instantaneous. Boost machine tuning primarily...
