Can I just say (OT football stuff)
everyone who was at the Giants game knew what was going to eventually happen. It was actually kind of funny to have everyone verbalizing the fact the Giants where blowing the game in front of our very eyes!
Oh, and it was a quiet game too, every was too busy listening to the Yankees game on their portable radio to watch the game.
P.S.guess the Giants never heard of throwing on 1st down!
Glad I'm a 49ers fan ;-p

Fassel played not to lose instead of to win.
And we are, of course, some of the most knowledgeable fans in the game.
I knew it was over after the Jint's 1st offensive series in the 3rd quarter when you knew they would try and sit on the 9 points. Its amazing to think that with close to 20 plays inside the 20 and 10 inside the 10, Fassel didn't let Collins throw a single ball into the end zone.

No, but typical Fassel, they were way too conservative on offense. The game was lost on
Collins' fumble. If that ****head remembered to keep the ball tucked away, the Giant's would have run out the clock easily, since the Eagles had no timeouts left.
I loved the NYPD Blue opening, that was great! Joel, you must have loved that scene with the Eagles players looking at mug shots.
Oh, and I know she's attractive, but why do I need to see Angie Harmon 15 times in the last 2 minutes? She's sitting there thinking, "Oh great, they lost on Monday night, guess I aint gonna 'see-horn' tonight!"

You can't blame Collins, who must have been damned pissed. Fassle wouldn't let him throw downfield..
for 58 minutes, which basically amounts to a vote of no confidence and then puts him in situation where he's forced to run the 2 minute drill?

Both coaches had strange offensive game plans
The Giants weren't throwing the ball and the Eagles weren't running. I would have expected a bunch of draws and screens to slow down the blitzes but the weren't there.

I didn't blame Collins. I blamed Fassel. I said the game was "lost" on his fumble, which it was.
Believe me, I'm a Dolphins fan, so you don't need to tell me about conservative coaches who don't let their average quaterbacks throw downfield! :-) We went out this year and signed 2 good free-agent receivers and drafted the next Michael Irvin, and we don't use any of them.
