Default car trouble

on my way to wendys i start to hear a small rattle. i turn the air off and there is this loud humming sound, when i press on the gas it gets worse. i turn the air back on and it goes back to this weird rattle. not a very loud rattle at all.

im not sure what is going on but that loud humming comes on with the air on as well.

i leave the air off and i went over a hard bump, the humming starts up.

any ideas of what it is?

timing belt service was done about a month or 2 ago.

83k miles on the car right now

Default The rattle could be the AC belt tensioner

Mine did that, it sounded like an exhaust shield rattle whenever the AC compressor would turn on. It's easy to change, takes about an hour.

Not sure about the loud humming.
