Default coolant leak?

ok so i replaced some heater hose fittings and put in a new thermostat, hopeing to solve this leak problem ive been having.

Now i take it out for a drive around *maybe four - 5 miles* and it warms up the temp guage sits at 12 o clock for about a minute or two then continues upward, the faster i go the cooler it gets *duh* but heres the kicker.

The coolant low warning always comes on after a little bit of driving, so i bring it back home let it cool down and the expansion reservoir is sitting right where it should be, no low coolant, no leaks, nothing. any ideas?

Default coolant warning is probably the sensor corroded at the bottom of the reservoir >

you can clean it with sandpaper or emory cloth - check the forum FAQ's, should be something in there.
