Default Could I have screwed up the alignment replacing a front CV boot?

I just finished replacing the front outer drivers side CV boot so naturally I had the shock tower disconnected from the lower control arm as well as the tie rod disconnected. Now the steering wheel is cocked to one side but the car does not pull. I checked the tire pressure and it is fine. Thanks!

Default Yes!

Anytime you take that many parts of the suspension apart, the chances of getting it back the way is was are slim..

Default Re: "shock tower disconnected from lower control arm" ???

There are 3 bolts that hold the strut/ shock to the bottom of the suspension (I call it the control arm, I guess that is wrong) basically the bottom part that holds the hub and wheel on. I moved the strut to the side once it was detached to get at the CV boot.

Default The ball joing/control arm connection (the three nuts) is where camber is set. There is practially

no way you could have kept your alignment intact, even if you tried.
