Del Rio goodies!................and exhaust test info
car is being dyno'd as we speak on 91 and MAYbe racegas. i say maybe, because it might be maxed out on 91! racegas might put it over the limit for safe bottom end happiness. as it stands, the thing is -2.3 % air/fuel on the VAG and +5% on the throttle......so it's pretty bad ***. basically 12.5:1 thru the midrange 12:1 at the upper end. here is a link to some pics of the exhaust tests

http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=2517629&postid=28115652#28115652 </a

Thanks Nate for the AFR e mails. Wow, 12/1 relatively lean at WOT assuming>>
you're pushing high boost otherwise real safe. I'd luv to be ~12.5 - 12.0 but I fear the real high boost from my relatively small turbo would prefer richer to assure against melt down.
In any event...tomorrow to KMD and a lean out. Depending on whether or not I'm reading the correct block (who knows?...block 33?) I'm richer than 11 to 1 at both WOT and heavy part throttle. Unburnt gas firing in exhaust, carbon build up and washing out cylinder walls result. Ahhh...the need for fine tuning at these levels.
