Dim instruments, many electrical bugs
I've had a very long list of bugs. Dealer response always same: Cannot reproduce at this time. Since HBL does not seem to have adequate diagnostic skills, I turn here for help.
*2001 TT Roadster Quattro*
1. Top fails to raise on occasion.
2. Locks won't unlock (console button) on occasion.
3. Instrument lamps dimmer by the day (dealer doesn't seem to know there is an ambient light sensor(s?) in the cluster).
4. Windows jog down but not up when you open/close door.
5. Code for auto-door-lock at 12 MPH didn't work.
6. Glass wind deflector panel goes down on its own.
7. Check engine light on, dealer says OK to drive anyway. Still, I'm worried about theamount of soot in the exhaust poisoning the catcon.
All these, plus the diverter valve is failing again, month long waits to get into the shop, week long waits while there. Months for some parts. Not a nice experience at all. Enough flames... Any confirmed solutions to such problems would be appreciated.
