Went to pull it out, didn't hardly pull on it, but it was stuck and up came the dipstick with half of that orange tube stuck along to it.
Knew I should have duct taped it and brought it in on Monday, The Tow truck driver was backing into the service alley way and hits the curb and drops one of the rear wheels off the dolley, Out come a bunch of guys from the Dealership and we lift the car rearend up so we can swing the dolley back under. The *** of the TT is freaken heavy.
Fairly screwed up Sat. morning.

here(HI)- cold is 70 degrees, a bit nippy of late so I've been pulling out the long sleeves :)
cant imagine it would be heat either because I would think they would make the plastic part of a grade to withstand quite a bit of heat.
I'm guessing the tooth grooved part just happen to get wedged in just right (tooth over tooth, instead of tooth over groove) so that when I pulled up it made the plastic wedge on eachother and expand enough to crack. That and/or it was defective.

(yes, I'm a postard and so can't find the thread to reply against)
