Do I need to be worried about the abundance of bird poop that seems to be finding my TT lately?

Default Do I need to be worried about the abundance of bird poop that seems to be finding my TT lately?
Seems I've been a target for the last few days. I must be parking under a colony of nests or something.

Any detriment to the paint that I should be concerned about (if I can't get to washing right away)?

Default bird crap is very bad for paint.
best get it off asap, and since if is gritty, be careful when cleaning it off, it can scratch your paint.

Default Yes...It will etch the finish...Also be careful how you wipe it off...it's usually got
pebbles or seed husks in it and it will scratch...

Wash it off as soon as you can...

Default YES!!! If you let it sit long enough it'll desolve the metal and you'll have a sunroof...
Ok, that might be a bit dramatic, but it does seem to be pretty bad for your paint and a huge PIA to remove after it's concreted... I would spray it with a solution of whatever car wash soap you use - let it dissolve a bit and rinse with water - don't rub it around it's got a buncha crap in it that'll scratch everything... The method of last resort would be a solvent or a clay bar... good luck!

Default Carry a small spray bottle of water and a cotton towel in your hatch for such special occasions -
it's what I do so poopings don't scratch paint - and try to blot them off so as not to -- guess -- scratch paint
