Do you have to replace entire car kit when you change phones. I've recently moved from AT&T to
T-Mobile and changed phones. Both are Nokia. I previously had a car kit installed by local stereo store who informed me built in mic etc. could only be used with Audi factory phone. Is this true? I did a search but conflicting info there only further confused me. Now with new phone I'm being told I need whole new set up ($180) and install $60-$100) Obviously I need a new cradle, but shouldn't you be able to just swop them out and wiring etc be compatible. Any one else have same problem?
