my friends and i really like doing things on our own...
granted we dont know much about audis, we still pull through and learn about it by the mess of problems on my car.
i think the only difference between a pro and some of the guys on here is that a pro is one who will get paid for fixing the problem.

Normally I would agree but working with refrigerant and checking for/fixing leaks >>>
requires the proper equipment. And to agree with Rocky our atmosphere has enough crap extra in it as it is.

Make sure you stop using "canned air" 'cuz that's the same R-134a in cars -->
Interesting rules the EPA publishes... if you work on car A/C (I'm EPA certified to do so), you must recover R134a, but you can buy it in "dusters" whose purpose is to release it into the atmosphere. Go figure!
