Default DV hum fixed!!!

Well kind of...made you look though. So here you go. I've been pining over the roadsters for the last month and second guessing my choice to go with the coupe. I've searched around off an on for some instant TTR gratification but come up empty. After seeing 225TTR's post about the roadster available on Saturday, I called our local dealer this morning to see if it was still around. It was sold of course. I left my name and number and they said they would call when another was available. 3:00 PM rolls around and the phone rings. Another roadster is magically available. I ran over to see it, they offered me much more than I expected on the 225 coupe trade, and I just returned from cruising around for two hours. The car is amazing. Time to go play some more!!! Oh, back to the subject...I have no DV hum and suspect that this car has the new "H" valve. I'm still doing the bailey valve when it comes in but who knows. Maybe there's hope...

Default Don't bet on it!!! (more)

I've had my coupe a little more than a week... the first 950 miles, no honk/hum to be heard.... Drove the Audiablo climb on Sunday and heard it half way up the mountain... now I hear it cruising around town..... Damn!!!!!

Default It's green like Ken's but I think he has green interior and top...

Mine is black interior with black top. Just got back from more crusing. Have a good night all...

Default Let's give Audi the benefit of the doubt...

Bosch doesn't stay in business by being completely clueless. While the Bailey may be the better solution, Audi really may come up with a fix (and I doubt it will be to buy us all Baileys ;-))

Default No hum on new 225QR

I test drove a 225QR with about 100 miles on it. Had definite hum at 3000 RPM range. My new Roadster picked up Saturday has no hint of a hum, so maybe its fixed. Time will tell.
