Default DV oem part 06A 145 710 N ?

Anybody knows if the 06A 145 710 N part it's the last and this solves the problems of previous versions?

I have an APU engine (DBW,150hp), unchiped, that DV could resist in my engine?
I heard that this 710N ref failed in any TT-225, that could be fine in my less boosted engine?

I would like go with OEM parts, also because I only see where I live aftermarket blow-off valves, not DVs.

Greetings from Spain

Default It'll be farting like an old woman at a prune party just like the rest, eventually...

The rubber diaphragm design just doesn't have the thermal properties to retain a proper seal over time. Kind of like the flapper in our toilets.

Default Once again, I have 7K miles on my 225 and have heard a DV honk, once, I THINK...

Never any other time. Not all DVs fail or make noise, at least not at higher elevations (e.g. 5300' and up...)

Default A honk is a big leak. A small consistant leak could damage performance greatly like a toilet...

flapper malformed in its seat affects your water bill and keeps you up at night with the intermittant refilling of the tank.

Default still doesn't work

The N valve sucks . . . and that's the problem. Can you mail order a Forge DV from Stratmosphere? (see link)

http://www.stratmosphere.com</a

Default Re: DV oem thermal problems?

It's said that the problem of the OEM DV is the heat, they fail with the heat, maybe the transverse mounted 1.8T are prone to fail by the proximity to the engine block, it's that?
or what?

In the longitudinal mounted 1.8T like mine, the DV it's separated from the engine, the newer OEM revisions could work well, anybody knows any A4 owner with problems or changed DV to newer OEM revised part?

I know a friend (in Spain like me, he hasn't problems yet) who wrote to Forge and they didn't replied. I wrote several days ago other email and I didn't received any reply..
I still thinking in OEM parts
