Electrical Problems

Came back from two weeks of vacation and found my fob didn't work. Didn't think much of it until I tried to fill up. None of the buttons in the car work(trunk, gas, central locking), the windows do not have the one touch up or down nor do they raise and lower when I open and close the doors. The storage area between the seats is locked as well.

I tried to reprogram the keys, disconnected the battery and nothing changes. Has anyone seen something similar? A search didn't turn up much.

I have seen this problem a long time ago on the forum. Can't remember the fix, but it's a resetting

issue iirc. Did you try locking, unlocking the car with the door key lock?

No, the battery is about 8 months old. Car starts and runs fine...

I'm going to recheck the fuses after work. Otherwise I'm probably headed to the dealer.

How long was the battery disconnected? There is a capacitor somewhere, so give it

about 10-15 minutes and then try it.
