Fault Code - Running Lean
My 2001 TT225 seemed slow yesterday, then my CEL came on. Brought it to Autozone and got it scanned, it was fault code P1128 - I looked online and found that the code means "Long Term Fuel Trim mult.,Bank1 System too Lean." Also, I can usually hear the turbo spooling a lot more than I have lately, and my DV sounds a lot quieter than usual, but it's still boosting, almost kind of feels like limp mode, but there were no overboost codes. Any ideas?

Re: Boost gauge would help. Probably MAF. Could be DV if it's stock I suppose
Yeah, I need to install my boost gauge. Maybe I'll throw on the stock DV and see if that helps, I have a hyperboost.

almost certain it's your MAF
Not familiar with the Hyperboost but since it's aftermarket it should be adequate. Unless it need lubed, or has a torn diaphram, needs cleaned or whatever type of service that one requires.
But since it was your long term adaptation it slowly got out of range over time probably due to a failing MAF. Get the reman'd MAF for your application and I think you'd be good to go.

Great...Thanks a lot for the help. Where's the best place to get one? I saw at ECS they're only $50?? Is that right?? Seems almost too cheap for an Audi part...
