The occassional (increasing frequency) drop in power / "bbrrrrrrrp" was measured with tool. Monitored misfires......nothing. Get 'em at idle and part throttle....but not when the power drops.
Any ideas? It's either spark or fuel.
Wouldn't a bad coil show up as a misfire?

I use VagCom - but just measure values in Block 003 and Block 020
Block 003 will show throttle position as overall actual ignition timing. 020 will show how much timing is being pulled in each cylinder.

well...I found Cyl Retard and Knock sensor. Retard at 0.0% at all times, however,>>
knock goes as high as ~13.0 V on 100oct (Danny reset ignition for more advance).
Sounds like a high reading....but, when I had knock before the symptom was different...everything just dialed back....no audible brrrpppp

Could be bad gas, could be an 02 sensor on the way out.......
I don't know your car or tuning well enough to really comment. YOu mentioned that you "dialed" timing up? If so - i'd dial it back down a bit.
