Finally, a TT of my own
I have a bankers box full of TT sales literature, magazine articles, etc. going back to the early days.
Got a smoking good deal on it too. TT Coupe, 225, 6 speed manual. Silver with gray leather. 45k miles and all service records. Got it for $6000 under suggested retail as I work at a VW/Audi/Porsche dealership.
Next will be a new timing belt and H20 pump, but for the next 20k miles I will just enjoy driving it every day.
Cheers!

Sometimes, when I am lucky, I "link" some of the down hill sections and coast for more than a mile or two.
Being in the mountains, we pay $0.20 to $0.30 more per gallon as there are no fuel lines to the area, it all comes by truck.
I mooch every mile back and forth to work I can, so I can drive more
Still getting great fuel economy.
The TT was sold new at the VW/Audi/Porsche dealership where I work, then CPO sold at 21k. I picked it up with 45k. I plan on doing the timing belt at 60k.
So far, so good
I just did the timing belt etc. Not as bad as it looks. If you are the DIY type, follow BlueTT's instructions.

My BMW bikes, I will work on, but technology this deep and my lack of tools... the Audi techs here will get it. And besides, it will be warranted by Audi.
I plan on driving this TT for a long, long time.

Sounds like you picked up a nice jewel of a car! And working at an Audi dealership? wow, that's the perfect hookup!
Enjoy!
I've had mine for 2 months and I've been loving every second of it (even the DIY repairs). I bought mine in your neck of the woods: Greer, SC
About a 7 degree temperature difference, too, and that helps a LOT in the summer.Still very much enjoying the TT. I hope it serves me well for many miles to come.
