That's up to Forge. I think it is in the plan but I'm not sure.

Default Do you expect the FMIC to allow more air to flow into the engine?

If that's the case I see how you would need upgraded software. If it is just cooling the air better, I don't see how software would be needed.

I'm not the engineer but cooler equals an ability to charge the air to a more dense state

Default Yes, but that just means the computer thinks the day is cooler than it really is

Does the ECU need to reprogrammed?

I don't know where all the sensors are or even what sensors are in place for the ECU to figure out what to do. If there is an outside temperature sensor that the ECU uses to determine what to do with boost, is that sensor reading pre-intercooler air or post-intercooler air?

Default Re: Not yet, in my hands next week! WHAT ABOUT ABT?

Pete,

I was poking around the ABT web site, and noticed that they too offer an intercooler. Will you be carrying the ABT intercooler as well as the Forge? Lastly, it looks as though the ABT FMIC is for the 180TT - is this so? As always, we appreciate your feedback and new information that you provide us all on the AudiWorld forum. Stratmosphere rocks - love your site, great service!
