I know its anything but current, but European car in the December '98 issue has the 225Q listed at $34,800. This is in line with what my dealer has guessed.

Has anyone been quoted a solid price?

That would be less than the 180Q MSRP of $35,150 US. I'd guess an additional $2-3K

Remember, that the 225Q's MSRP is actually more like $32,200. I think that you are including the options into your price. A stripped FWD TT is $30,500. Add about $1,700 on top of that for the 180Q. $35,500 is probably not too far off, unless they are charging extra for ESP and or including some "options" as part of the base price package.
