Gas Saving Idea? Stupid idea?
I was talking to one of my close friends and we came up with an idea.
We were thinking about difference ways we can improve gas econ, since gas is alot higher than it use to be.
We came up with an idea of preheating the gas to about 700c (+). We would use one of the gas lines and probably use something to block in the heat.
When the gas reaches the cylinder its already ready to combust. Thus burning better and producting more power, which means saving gas.
I know this is a stretch, but does anyone think that will work?

Here's a better one...
...though you probably won't be around to try it, since you'll have blown yourself up with the heated gas. How about carrying around sticks of dynamite that you periodically shove into your exhaust pipe to give you that extra "push".

What you want to do is freeze the gas, get it really cold, get more in the tank, and thermal efficiency will increase, Otto cycle engines are heat pumps, bigger temp differenctial the better they work, hot gas = less power, lower milage, and vapor lock.
