Greetings from the road!
we drove from Durham to Nashville last night via the Dragon and Cherohala Skyway, and it was a pretty amazing drive! unfortunately, we left a bit late and, thus, couldn't meet up with the QdM guys, but I hope that they enjoyed the day on the Dragon/Cherohala.
only a minor hiccup with the car while on the Dragon (and a slight second hiccup - passenger not feeling well caused us to skip some roads near the Dragon), so the first day was pretty good overall.
Jack's BBQ in Nashville is highly-recommended, but unfortunately we didn't see too much other stuff in the city because we were really exhausted after all the driving that day. we're on our way to Kansas City via Nashville right now, so if you see an "unpainted" TT with Ohio plates on the road, please wave! :-)
