Groaning Suspension, and Transmission Replacement Timeline

Does anyone elses TT front suspension seem to groan when dampening large bumps taken at relatively slow speed (10-20 mph)? Any ideas why, seems to be a new problem after 5k miles. Along with the groan, the transmission as now grinds in between shifts from 1-2-3-4, but seems to be alright 5-6, maybe due to rpm since shifts are done at lower revs for the higher gears? Anyone experience a replacement for 6sp quattro transmission and how long it might take?

The 6 speeds have been pretty solid in the 180's. We'll be real interested in how this turns out.

Ummm? No 6 speeds in 180s. Do you mean 225s?
