Default Headlight upgrade

The low beams on my 2001 TT are virtually worthless at night. High beams are great though. I've pretty much gotten used to them but the other night while out with my wife she questioned if they were even on. They were. The car was bought second hand but I will assume the bulbs are original. Is their an upgrade to the bulbs that I can make for better illumination?

Default lights

hi, I just got a used tt a few months ago, I think they may be aimed too low. I think they are automatically aimed but am checking this. I will get back to you on this. Check in the meantime, do they aim too low? I think you have what I have, I think it is HIDD. They are pretty bright.

I was able to raise the aim on the headlights and they are much better. Thanks for your tip. I haven't been blinked by oncoming drivers so I think I may be OK. Sorry for the late response.

do you have the headlight leveling system ? ive heard those sometimes fail thus pointing the lights down too far.
