Default Here's sumpin' ya don't see every day Chauncey. This turned up at Chicago Treffen.

This A3 pulled into the show lot and was getting attention before he had a chance to set the parking brake. Turns out, the previous owner sold it to buy a Ford Explorer, or was planning to re-paint the car black if it didn't sell, (Mike shrugs &amp; shakes head). The paint on this car is great, and the new owner saved the car from an uncertain fate at the hands of people who clearly hadn't a clue.

One note: The car has an American style front plate holder factory built into the front bumper. (I'm thinkin' Mexican origin ?)

I think you could count the number of A3s in the country on one hand, so it was a nice surprise to see one show up at Treffen.

An 'ol high-school friend in Mexico city now owns an Imola (?) yellow S3... all I can say is WOW!
