Default Hey Steve, I hate to be an interloper on this forum but can you tell me.......

Will this system work on my car? The varied information in the thread is a little confusing.

Click This!

Default Not well....>>>

Different pipe diameters for one, + you have some different clearance issues with the automatic... And you'd need to figure out a Vacuum source and switch....

Default I like it too..>>

You can buy the NPP version of those pipes new (What I have) for about $1200 but you'll have to add a vacuum system (there are simple drop in "NPP in a box" solutions for a few Hundred$).

B&B also makes a switchable "Fusion" system for $16-1700...

That's a lot of money. Couldn't I get these and a set of headers to match for less?

Default LOL...Not for less!....>>

The Best headers (LG Pro's) are $1600 alone. Others run from $1000 and up (LG also has a nice street series for around that $1000). Most are set up for the standard 2.5" pipes on the Mufflers (Z06 units are 3"). My system is a full 3" until it necks down into the mufflers.
My Buddy with a '06 added Kooks headers and used his stock system which worked pretty well. he wanted a little more sound and found a used Borla on the CF for $500 and it sounds great. The switchable systems are either much quieter or much louder than that combo depending on how you flip the switch. I've worked out some sound tuning tricks on mine though! Honestly, I really like the sound of his Borla...Really nice, but not switchable.
