Default How can I find out if I have the latest APR soft? I've had my chip for a year and bought the ECU

used, so I just want to know that I'm running the latest and the greatest that APR has to offer.

you probably have ver.2...hasn't changed for sometime, unlike Giac.

Default Yup, Nope...But....>

If you buy the home programmer you can update anytime, switch programs around etc. It gives you control over what's in there (assuming it's hard chipped)

Default Hmm...looks like its to much of a headache. If the soft hasn't changed in 2 years, then I prob.

have the latest one (the guy who sold it to me 1 year ago claimed it was up to date). If a new release happens to come out, I'll just go to APR and have it reflashed.

Default the chip is not flashed like Revo...at least the one you bought awhile back.

it is a hardwired chip. flashed software uses the OEM soldered in chip.
