<img src="http://www.dtmautohaus.com/img/tt_51_1.jpg">I've been talking with Stan Chen of DTM Autohaus. The list price on the hood is $1299+shipping. It comes unpainted. He is looking into how much it will cost to factory paint it, or you can take to a local shop.

I'm told they do use the stock mounting points and lifters.

Each hood takes approx. 1 week to make. We need at least 10 people to get the price down to $1000 a hood.(+ paint and ship).

People wishing to join this group buy would have to put down a non-refunable deposit of 20%($200) towards the hoods because they are made to order and DTM/SGI does not keep stock of them.

I'm shooting for a July date on this, as I imagine it will take a while to get 10 people interested, and plan the funding for this. I doubt it will be cheap to ship or paint. I would guess $1400-1500 would cover everything.

I am waiting to find out if it is something that can be installed at home.
