Default Hyperboost original/HX/Compact, whats the diff?...

Is it worth the extra $$ for compact vs.HX vs. original? I'm not chipped yet, have VTDA and ****. Will I see any performance gains over stock? Just looking to get rid of the mourning dove under my hood at about 2300 rpm and am assuming it's the factory DV. Seems like it's an equal split between Forge and Hyperboost fans. Does the HX require work every 5k like the 007?

Default Well, granted, those two items may not provide as large of an improvement as a chip, but.....

when he does chip it, they will compliment each other nicely and will bring everything together. I got my TTDA first, before the chip, and then the **** and BM after the chip, and I must say that all of them TOGETHER make a nice combination.

So, the point is, that as long as he chips it, it doesn't matter what order he gets the stuff, because the VTDA and **** will be of benefit.

Default Not sure about the differences in the DV but....

as for performance gains, with any intake set-up you gain minimal when compared to chipping. The VTDA/TTDA, in my opinion, smooths out the power delivery. Prior to adding the VTDA my power would kick in all of a sudden. Now its comes on fairly smoothly and is good for daily driving. I'm unchipped as well.

Default Not provide as large? How about NONE? Or a loss of power?

You might also want to know how many people have been having **** issues.

There is nothing to "compliment".... the VTDA and the other piece are still a waste of money compared to an exhaust.

The point is.. that he wasted his money. Should have gotten a chip, then an exhaust. Then maybe an intake. But to suck in hot air and have the fuel trim leaned out on a non-chipped car... is well ridiculous.

Default You'd see more difference from a DV change ....

your imagination and desire to believe that your money well spent has lead you to think that you gained something.

Okay.. then don't do those things since you're damaging your car? Is that a better reason?
