on my way to work on Fri. i was in stop and go traffic. i saw this girl being lazy about stopping behind me (but barely moving though)and thought she was pretty damn close and could hit me if i don't do something about it. i lifted on the clutch to move forward and got out of the way. at the same time, the clutch engages pretty noticably (VF stg IV). i thought, did she just tap me barely or was that just the clutch? i really figured it was the clutch. i noticed today a very small crosshair in the rear bumper from her ****ing license plate. ALL i had to do was pull over and get her info! can't believe i let myself think it wasn't what it was!!!

how many have had the rear sprayed and had it come out o.k. AND last?

I was two blocks from home and was coming to a stop behind a nice Vette. I look in the rear-view and see a girl in a Jeep, doing something with her cell-phone, and not watching the road. She locks them up, and I pull forward, closing the gap with the Vette. She comes to a stop not more than an inch off my bumper. Worst feeling in the world!!!!

Anyway, my first TT (2000) got hit while parked in the lot at work. I had Auto Restorators in Rancho Cucamonga do the work and I was never able to detect where the repair happened and the virgin car started. Paint matching was spot on.
