I have to decide: Coupe or Roadster?
Damn hard decision... I'm not the cabriolet driver, but it would be nice in summer... My color would be amulett red, on both.
Merry christmas from germany, where the 24th of dec. is almost over ;-)

Amulet Roadster, of course...
I use my Roadster year-round, and I think it's great. I live in Seattle, where it rains for a good part of the year, and I still love it. The rain is no problem, and it's nice have the ability to go top-down whenever you want. With heated seats, you can go top-down in cold weather. I never regret having this instead of a coupe. Plus, in warm weather, it's unbelievable how nice it is to have.

Froliche Weinachten!

Like Europa, I once lived in Seattle, which is a bit similar to Germany in climate in some ways. The top came down any day that it wasn't actually raining, and it was like 4-wheel Prozac!
I envy the smooth look of the coupes... but it's Roadster every time for me!

I made myself a promise when I got it: as long as it's not actually raining or snowing, the top will
... be down. And I have kept to that promise consistently... even sometimes pushing through the rain (light rain when you're doing 50mph+ means no rain in the cabin!).
I also admire the smooth coupes... but nothing compares to actually having a Roadster.

Has everyone seen the MINI convertible 'contract'?
It's funny... it's a legal-looking, 'binding' contract that says you'll do exactly that -- keep the top down! Great piece of ad agency stuff. (Audi should have such a good agency.)
When I was in Seattle, I couldn't believe how much more enjoyment I got out of an otherwise gray and bland day with my top down and heater up full.
Here in the sub-tropics now, I actually have to drive with the top up sometimes just to keep from baking the seat leather and my skull! I know, I know... poor me!
Coupes are more solid, better-looking in many ways. But when that top comes down...

Can your life style work with a 2 seater?
Most folks who are new to roadsTTers trade them in within a year because of this issue. If you often hang with a large group of friends, the raodsTTer is probably not for you.
Having had roadsTTs most of my life, I would not have any other car.
